John Pinsent, CA
John is a founding Senior Partner with St. Arnaud Pinsent Steman Chartered Accountants following a distinguished ten-year career with Ernst and Young LLP. John was the recipient of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta Early Achievement Award for 2001 and the 2002 Economic Development Edmonton Ambassador Award. He serves as a Director of the Alberta California Venture Channel. John has a particular passion for assisting early stage biotechnology and information technology companies and has been an active angel investor and mentor to organizations in this space.
Terry Hughes
Terry is the President and Chief Marketing Officer of Redwood Technologies Inc. Terry has spent the last 20 years in the wireless sector. He's been Director, General Manager and Head of Sales for several wireless companies (private start-ups and public), including 7 years at Vodafone Europe, two years with a San Francisco dot-com, and 5 years at Zi Corp in Europe, Asia, and Canada. Terry holds a BA in Business Administration and a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Terry is a board member of WiTec, Alberta's wireless and telecom industry association.
